Street in SoHo, New York City!

The Location
Our mission was to restore Richard Haas' mural on the 112 Prince Street building. Standing five stories tall, the mural can be found in one of the most high profile areas of Soho in
New York City.
Steps To Success
Below you will find in-depth documentation into the restoration of Richard Haas' iconic 112 Prince Street mural, a New York City public art staple and neighborhood classic.
Step One
In order for the mural to stand the test of time, we prepared the wall by priming it so that the paint would adhere and be resilient against all weather conditions. A task such as this required the best paint for the job, Keim Mineral Coatings.
Step Two
On the side of building there are two real windows, which are incorporated in the painting. In order to make the painted windows look real we used the two real windows as our initial point of reference as we transferred the mural imagery onto the wall.
Step Three
After years of coordination, a small team of the finest muralists repainted Richard Haas' painting. Haas, a Master Artist and pioneer, helped pave the way for muralists like us to continue this timeless and traditional art form today and into the future.
